To better accommodate the diverse need of tagging and transferring Human ORFs with different tag types and/or different locations Vigene Biosciences has pioneered the pEnter Entry Vector that is compatible with a variety of destinations vectors.
► More than 30 destination vectors available, including different C & N-terminal
affinity tags and GFP & RFP fluorescent tags.
► The Entry Vector is designed to accommodate large inserts up to 30kb & very toxic genes without the need for a special E.coli strain.
► Easy shuttling with a simple cut-and-paste approach using restriction enzymes.

A large panel of destination vectors are available so that you can express the ORF with different tags, with tags at different ends of the protein, or as the native, untagged protein.
The ORF of an entry clone can be shuttled into all destination vectors and other viral vectors through a simple "cut and paste" restriction enzyme digestion and ligation. A combination of two pairs of restriction enzymes, AsiSI/MluI (96%), AsiSI/RsrII(99%) covers 99.5% of all human cDNA ORFs. All human genes can be covered with a few additional restriction enzyme combinations, such as AsiSI/NotI, AscI/RsrII.
